Warners
celebrate
45 years
Mr. and Mrs. Ted Warner, 15866 Co. Rd. 62, celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary at a surprise celebration held Oct. 3 at the Warner Farm on County Road 29. Coordinated by their daughter, Wendy, and daughter-in-law, Lisa, with additional help from their families, the event was catered by friends and family.
Mr. Warner and the former Ruth Potts were married Oct. 3, 1964, in Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Flat Rock. They were attended by Arlene Miller Missler as matron of honor and Richard Warner as best man.
The couple are parents of two children, Troy (Lisa) Warner and Wendy (Keith) Robinson, both of Bellevue. They also have four grandchildren, Zach and Matt Warner and Kiana and Kurt Robinson.
Mr. Warner has been an agriculture specialist at T-N-T Farms for 50 years.
Mrs. Warner was employed for five years with Pechiney Plastics (Ball Corp.), from where she is retired.
During the surprise celebration, a PowerPoint presentation of their lives together was shown, as family and guests enjoyed an evening of laughter and memories. Decorations were coordinated to match their wedding day 45 years ago, with cakes also duplicating those served at their wedding. The evening concluded with a bonfire.
