SANTA ROSA, Calif. -- Mr. and Mrs. Charles "Chuck" Belfiore, 520 Southwood Dr., Santa Rosa, Calif. 95407, and formerly of Bellevue, celebrated their 77th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Nov. 5, with a family gathering hosted at their home in California by their sons and daughters-in-law.

Mr. Belfiore and the former Evelyn "Eve" Branco were married Nov. 5, 1932, in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Bellevue.

The couple has two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles (Earlene) Belfiore, Cloverdale, Calif., and Nick (Georgeanna) Belfiore, Fort Myers, Fla. They also have 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Now both 93, they lived in Bellevue for 31 years and were the original owners of the city's first pizza house, the former "Eve's Pizza House" at 108 E. Main St. They moved to California in 1963 to be closer to their children.

Mr. Belfiore was a finish carpenter at Oakmont Estates, Santa Rosa; a property lessor and city transit bus owner in the Roseland District of Sonoma County before retiring in 1977. Mrs. Belfiore now enjoys baking for family members.

Because of the longevity of their marriage, the couple's 77th anniversary was recently acknowledged by Willard Scott during the birthday and anniversary segment on NBC's Today Show.
