Jim, Donna Laub
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Laub, 129 Hamilton St., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Monday, Nov. 9.
Mr. Laub and the former Donna Long were married Nov. 9, 1949, in St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Bellevue. They were attended by Bev Long DeBlase and Bill Musser.
The couple are parents of three children, Kit (Deb) Laub and Karen Branco, both of Bellevue, and Ken (Annie) Laub, Republic. They also have 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Laub is retired from Kroger's and served in the U.S. Navy. He and his wife also owned McMichael's Grocery Store, in Bellevue. Mrs. Laub is a homemaker and a Mary Kay consultant.
The couple was surprised by a card shower. A private celebration has been planned. They would enjoy hearing from their friends, however, the omission of gifts is requested.
